A James Lunt of Lydiate was buried on 22 Dec 1789 - perhaps he
married a woman from Lydate?
A Richard Lunt married Sicily Heatley at Sefton on 23 Oct 1785.
A Robert Lunt of Sefton was buried on 3 July 1772 , but by this
time the family was living at Netherton.
May be a relative of Francis Davis of Hull

Liverpool on 2 May 1803. A son John was christened at St May's
Church, Hull on 15th Sep 1806 then another seven children were
born in Liverpool and baptised at St Peter's. John moved to
Salford and married twice.

4th Oct 1856
A Richard Lunt married Mary Hilton (otp) on 3rd May 1748 (42 at
marriage?).A Richard Lunt married Jane Fazakerley of Roby on 18th Feb 1853
(47 at marriage!).No obvious children from either marriage.
Presuambly died young, but no burial recorded in register.
Several John Lunts married in about 1740.
A Robert Lunt married Eleanor Whitby of this parish on 21
November 1739 - Eliner wife of Robert of Sefton died in 1766
while Robert of Sefton died in 1772.A Robert Lunt married Janet Hesketh of Halsall on 1 December
1749 - no sign of Janet dieing.There are several possible children of either of these couples
(4 sefton, 4 thornton, 2 lunt).
Most likely burial is a William Lunt of Netherton, buried 21 Apr
1763. THis could also be his son.A William Lunt of Liverpool, son of James, was buried on 22 May
1796.
Possibly not a son of this William as born at Sefton not
Thornton.
Possibly married John Whalley in 1776.
The only possible children of this couple are -

Possibly the Ann Lunt who married William Cheshire, house
